Combining poor visibility with the loose rocks and steep slope, I lost my nerve about 400 feet from the summit, and climbed back down the boulders.
Garrett and David made it to the southern spire, maybe 100 feet from the top, but were met by a vertical cliff far too hairy to negotiate. They returned via this much less intimidating (and much more stable) concave slope.
